ARGENTINA We are a company specialized in the production of Alfalfa and commodities, to integrate to the food production chain for both domestic and export markets.

Alfalfa Production

In Cordoba province we have established our Alfalfa farms and processing plants. We are also working closely with local farmers and producers promoting and developing Alfalfa as a viable business.

Other Crops

We produce commodities - Soybean, Corn Wheat etc in several provinces across Argentina (Buenos Aires, Entre Rios, La Pampa, Sante Fe, etc.) for both domestic and export markets .

Our History

2011

Almarai acquired 100% of Fondomonte’s shares.

2013

First Shipment

Fondomonte successfully exported its first shipment to Almarai from its Arable Farm operations.

2014

Expansion

Following a thorough analysis of the Agricultural regions, Fondomonte expanded its Arable operations in Argentina’s core area, aiming to establish local production chains, both for owned lands and in cooperation with local farmers.

2015

Alfalfa Operation

In January, work commenced to establish an Alfalfa Operation in San Vicente Cordoba.

2016

First Dehydration plant in Argentina

The first dehydration plant in Argentina was commissioned. Additional hectares were also incorporated to increase productions.

2022

Second Dehydration Plant

The second dehydration plant was commissioned, striving to achieve maximum efficiency, while also fostering the development of local farmers and suppliers.
